Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Regulations is to prescribe general matters concerning the publication of the Korean Journal of Nuclear Medicine Technology (KJNMT; hereinafter the “Journal”), an academic journal published by the Korean Society of Nuclear Medicine Technology (KSNMT; hereinafter the “Society”).

Article 2 (Journal and Language)

① The Korean title of the Journal is ‘핵의학기술,’ and its English title is the ‘Korean Journal of Nuclear Medicine Technology.’

② Manuscripts submitted to the Journal shall be written in Korean or English, and their preparation shall conform to the Journal’s Instructions for Authors.

Article 3 (Publication Schedule)

The Journal shall be published twice a year, on May 31 and November 30.

Article 4 (Submission, Publication, and Review)

① All manuscripts submitted to the Journal shall comply with the Society’s Research Ethics Regulations.

② The Editorial Board shall determine whether a manuscript is accepted for publication through the review procedure prescribed in the Journal’s Manuscript Review Regulations.

③ Reviewers shall be paid a prescribed review fee.

Article 5 (Publication Rights)

① The Society shall own the publication rights in all articles published in the Journal and any works derived from them in electronic publication form.

② Any transfer or lease of the publication rights shall be decided by the Executive Board of the Society.

Article 6 (Distribution)

① The Journal shall be distributed free of charge to members of the Society.

② If an individual or organization that is not a member requests a subscription, the Executive Board shall determine whether to approve the request and the subscription fee.

Article 7 (Launch, Increase in Publication Frequency, and Discontinuation)

The Executive Board shall decide whether to launch a new journal, change the publication frequency of an existing journal, or discontinue publication.

Supplementary Provisions

Any matters not specified in these Regulations shall be decided by the Executive Board of the Society.
